Testimonials

"When I introduce Glynna to others I often say that I want to be just like her when I grow up.  I say that in all seriousness because Glynna in so many ways exemplifies the character of Jesus.  Glynna’s selflessness and love for others has resulted in two families having a child of their own even though they could not carry a child themselves.  Glynna is a loving wife, mother and awesome friend.  Her zest for life is contagious to all those who know her.  She is a woman of integrity and Godly character.  Those who work with or are friends with her will find their lives greatly enriched!"

"I have known Glynna now for several years.  As the Dean of Wagner Leadership Institute, (WLI) where Glynna studied for her Bachelor's Degree, I have had many personal interactions with her.  As a student, she was required to write reflection papers after every weekend conference.  Glynna's papers were always insightful, honest, well written, and always on time! I have found Glynna to be a compassionate, responsible and thoughtful person.  She is a great manager of time, as this has been demonstrated even by the efficient and loving way she has raised her four children.  I appreciate my friendship with her and consider it an honor to know her."

"When I think of the birth of my second child, Joelle, the "event" was very different from my first experience. The first time around I had complications and my husband was my coach and helper...he did his best but this was a "job" he felt ill equiped for. When I found out I was having another child, I was fearful and asked Glynna to be with me. Her coaching and comforting presence made all the difference. I am thankful for her knowledge of the birth experience and for knowing just what to do to make one of life's most incredible experiences more beautiful."

"Being a first time mom, I was scared to death of all the "labor unknowns".  I had a thousand questions and fears running through my mind. That's where Glynna came in!  She answered all of my questions, calmed my fears, and prepared me for the birth and delivery. My husband Jared also needed alot of support and help!  She checked in on us during the weeks leading up to the labor.... and when I felt that this baby couldnt come soon enough, she let me know that "this too shall pass.."  Bless her heart, she really hung in there with me!!

When I woke up in the middle of the night and told my husband, Jared, that I thought I was in labor, his first words to me were, "We HAVE to call Glynna NOW!"  We both knew that if Glynna was there, we would both be OK.  As soon as she came to our house, we both felt at ease, as she reassured us, and made us feel more comfortable.  She made sure we were both nourished and hydrated and suggested different postions to ease my discomfort.

When we arrived at the hospital, she was there for us during the difficult contractions, and was able to help me and give me the support I needed to make it through each contraction.  Jared was even able to get a few breaks throughout the labor, knowing that I would be left in good hands and being wonderfully cared through.  Glynna was able to speak for myself and Jared, by communicating our needs to my OB and nurses effectively and positively.  She also was very conscious of mine and my husband's privacy and respected our desicions to have "alone time", and she made sure we knew that she would step out of the room at any time if we needed her to.  (But we didnt)  LOL

Jared and I talk about that day as one of the hardest, but most wonderful day of our lives.  It was such an awesome experience, and we know for a fact that we would not be able to say that if we hadn't had Glynna's help and support!!

She has been such a huge blessing to us and I am so thankful for what she has done for us.  I cannot imagine having any more babies without her!!"
