Contemporary Birth Doula Services: Surrogacy Consulting

Glynna Beechler has been in the surrogacy community since 2004 and has had the privilege of being a Gestational Carrier twice. Glynna delivered a healthy baby girl in 2007 and another beautiful baby girl (via egg donation) in 2009 for two sets of happy Intended Parents. Being an Independent Surrogate, Glynna and her couples had to facilitate all of the arrangements for their surrogacy journey on their own. Glynna was not only a Gestational Carrier to her couples but also the surrogacy consultant as they maneuvered through this complicated process together. Using her organizational and communication skills, Glynna was able to guide her IPs to the outcome they dreamed of, adding a new baby to their hearts and homes.

Building trust and a strong relationship with each set of Intended Parents strengthened Glynnas resolve to educate others going through this overwhelming process so that their journeys are less complicated and filled with confidence as all parties move forward toward their dreams of building families together.

Glynna offers her surrogacy expertise working with LaMothe Surrogacy Consultants.

Glynna holds a Bachelor's Degree in Practical Ministry, and is a DONA trained Birth Doula and she is currently in the process of becoming a Certified Childbirth Educator. Currently a member of The Doula Coop of Rochester and The Rochester Birth Network, Glynna is our 'Conception to Birth' consultant!

Glynna currently resides in the Greater Rochester, NY area, married and the mother of four children.

BIRTH DOULA SERVICE INCLUDES

1. A minimum of 2 visits to your home during pregnancy. During these visits, we will be discussing:
~Yours and your partners intended birth "plan"
~ Pain relief strategies during labor
~Informational support and resources
~Answer any other questions you may have; help relieve fears and gain confidence for your birth
2. Continuous emotional/physical support throughout labor and delivery
3. Help with establishing initial breast feeding
4. 1 Post Partum/Follow Up Visit
5. Access to my cell number/email for extra support

Doula Service Fees

All inclusive birth doula fee is $400.00.

Please NOTE: The "average" doula fee in the Rochester area is $500.00 and the US as a whole, is $1,000.00

This fee includes travel, time, gas, parking fees at hospital, childcare (if birth is in the middle of the night),informational materials, etc.

A retainer is required of 1/2 down at initial meeting; balance due at post partum visit.
